Green open space (RTH) in Jakarta is still being built by the government. But until now, green open space in Jakarta is still far below the 30% urban standard. The neighboring country, Singapore, already has green open space that exceeds urban standards and has special management.

Will Jakarta ever be like Singapore?

1. The percentage of green space in Jakarta is stagnant and has not met the city standard of 30% of the city area. In contrast to Singapore, although stagnant, it has exceeded the city standard.

2. Singapore has a special program to protect the urban landscape to avoid environmental degradation. Meanwhile, Jakarta is still collecting green spaces to meet the % of urban standards.
