Jakarta, September 20, 2018 - Jakarta Property Institute (JPI) facilitated the drafting of the DKI Jakarta Minimum Infrastructure Rapergub. This Rapergub regulates the basic components that must be available in an area that is directly related to the life of urban communities.
There are four main infrastructures that are regulated: public infrastructure, social infrastructure, parking infrastructure, and other infrastructure. In this Rapergub, there are requirements, criteria, and needs of the related components. The discussion of this Rapergub invites stakeholders from the Regional Work Unit (SKPD), agencies, and related ministries.
JPI Executive Director Wendy Haryanto said the Rapergub is essential for the development of a city. "When a city develops, its development needs to be supported by a supporting legal basis. This Minimal Infrastructure Rapergub can accommodate the dynamics of change and development of the city."
In the initial discussion, stakeholders were present to provide input, references, and legal sources in accordance with each matter regulated in the related Rapergub. This initial discussion was attended by representatives from relevant ministries and agencies such as the Ministry of Communication and Information, and the Ministry of Environment, as well as the One-Stop Integrated Investment and Licensing Agency (DPMPTSP), the Water Resources Agency, and others. Furthermore, discussions will be held by inviting stakeholders outside the scope of government such as practitioners, experts, and business people, before finally this Rapergub is ratified through a public test.
This Minimum Infrastructure Rapergub is a mandate from Regional Regulation No. 1/2014 on Detailed Spatial Planning and Zoning Regulations. This regulation plan covers public infrastructure consisting of clean water networks, electricity, gas, and others, social infrastructure consisting of education, health, worship, and others, parking infrastructure which includes off-street parking infrastructure and on-street parking infrastructure, as well as other minimal infrastructure such as gas stations / SPBGs.
