According to TomTom Traffic Index 2023, Jakarta currently ranks as the 30th most congested city in the world out of 387 cities in 55 countries across 6 continents. The previous year, Jakarta's position was not much different, which was ranked 29th.

Based on previous data on this index, Jakarta's congestion level has decreased. This can be seen in the data comparison where in 2018 Jakarta's congestion ranked as the 7th most congested city in the world.

According to the European Local Transport Information Service(ELTIS), transportation integration is a process that aims to make travel using different modes of transportation more convenient and efficient.

Transportation mode integration can facilitate the convenience and comfort of travel using two or more different modes of transportation. Transportation integration is one indicator of improving the quality of public transportation facilities in a city and has a direct effect on the level of public transportation use in the city.

What is the state of BRT, LRT and MRT integration in Jakarta?

Currently, Jakarta's transportation integration has improved. This is marked by the integration of Transjakarta Bus Rapid Transit (BRT), Jakarta LRT, and Jakarta MRT. The integration of BRT, LRT and MRT Jakarta includes lines, stops and stations, payment methods, and integration tariffs. In addition, the presence of BRT passing through the Jakarta MRT Station, both elevated and underground lines, is another form of integration of BRT, LRT and MRT in Jakarta.
